What is live today
Member accounts and video uploads are active, so this page describes what the site actually does now. When a feature is not yet switched on — such as card payments or newsletter enrollment — we say so plainly rather than describing it as though it were running.
What we collect
When you create an account: your name, email address, and password (stored in protected, hashed form). When you submit a video: the file itself, its title, your publisher name, the category you chose, and the date. As you use the site: which videos you played and the star ratings you leave, plus the pass and standing on your account.
How it is used
Only to run the site: to create and secure your account, to review and publish the videos you submit, to show you your own submissions and rewards progress in My Account, and to send you notices about your account or the community. Star ratings and play counts are tied to your account so a person cannot rate the same video twice, and are published only as a score, never as your name.
Who can see your information
Videos that are still awaiting review, or that were declined, are visible only to you and to the site owner — never to the public. Once approved, a video is public together with its title and the publisher name you supplied. Your member record (name, email, pass, standing, join date, upload counts) is not shown to other members. The site owner can export a member list containing those fields for member communications and record-keeping. Your email address is never printed on a video or a page.
Where it is held
Accounts, member records, and uploaded video files are stored and served by Lovable Cloud, the hosting, database, storage, and email service this site runs on. Passwords are protected by the authentication system and are never visible to us in plain text.
How long we keep it
Member records are kept while your account is open. Uploaded videos are kept while they remain on the platform, including while awaiting review. If you ask us to close your account, your member record and your ratings and play history are deleted, and any video of yours that is still published is taken down.
Your choices
Newsletter enrollment is not active, so no marketing emails are being sent from this site; when it is offered it will be optional and will require your explicit consent. You can ask at any time to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have your account closed — email BroSteveTV@gmail.com from the address on your account.
Children and participants
Submitting a video requires you to be 18 or older. Children can appear in videos with the permission of a parent or guardian, and we ask that no video identify a child publicly without that permission.
Changes to this policy
As features are switched on, this page will be updated to match. Material changes will be posted here and, where they affect you, announced to members.
